I knew Maggie Koerth-Baker (when she was Maggie Koerth) back at MIT and she's a great, fun, and earnest person. She's soliciting entries in an occasional blog series "Science Question from a Toddler" in which she tries to answer toddlers' scientific questions.

Given how many of us have bright inquisitive little ones I figure we can send in a few doozies...
