Yes, my Arisia was good

But... it's complicated. First I need to write up Something Very Long for feedback@ and then maybe I'll post something here.

That said, I think we made several Right Decisions this time around, even though some of them were decisions I would rather not have had to make. There will be adjustments for next year and we'll see how those go.

Yes, I saw you go by a couple times at con but you seemed pretty busy and/or focused and didn't respond to my waving. Wednesday is date night for me and to be honest I'm fairly peopled out. I hope you have a good foo.

Glad you had a (mostly?) good Arisia. You seemed a bit prickly the few times we ran across you, so I had wondered if you were having a bad time of it.

I'm sort of having a bad time of inside my head but it wasn't Arisia per se. I think. Depends when you saw me.

What is Arisia? I know I should just google but it sounds like hearing your take will be more valuable to understanding your entries :)

Arisia is New England's largest and most diverse SF con. It's fan-run, and pretty big. We had 3800-ish people this year. it's MLK weekend and sort of four days. Runs Friday to Monday. There are panels and workshops and parties and games and costuming and bellydancing and talks and art and stuff to buy and singing and concerts and did I mention parties? There's also serious stuff, like panels on harassment - Arisia is very serious about inclusivity, reaching out to communities like the trans-folk and fans of color. There was a whole swath of maker-related stuff this year. There's tons of stuff for kids. There's lots of lifestyle and fan interest stuff. Gaming and oy... I could go on and on. You should come to the con some year.
