My main concern with the Democratic primary is how polarizing the supporters are despite the fact the two candidates are (so far) engaging in thought-provoking civil discourse. I worry about Sanders getting the same cult of personality that has given us Obama and Trump.
As for the GOP, it's always been about ego rather than the need for party unity. Party unity left once Trump became the front-runner.
