What we really need, and aren't getting, is for *congress* to stand up and say "Fuck you, NO." repeatedly, which is not just within their purview but is their DUTY when the executive has gone batshit crazy as in this case.

But, as someone else said, I think they're still trying to get something out of an R presidency. Once they realize he doesn't care one whit about their agenda, we shall see how things pan out at that point.
