The kids really have inherited Pygment's cheekbones!

In related news I'm enjoying taking RAW images. It avoids the horrid artifacting that I get with JPEGs and I have a few more tools to manipulate the images before dumping them back down to JPG or GIF format for uploading. The files are about 5x larger, but storage is cheap, right?

It is AMAZING how much they resemble pygment, especially K. I was stunned by the first picture you took.

re cameras: I've gotten to the point now where I rarely take anything but raw images. On my Nikon, raw files are not really that much bigger than JPEGs taken in the camera's max resolution (3000x2000) -- maybe twice the file size, if that. And yeah, storage is cheap, even at this volume :-)

Yeah, and with luck they inherited her jaw bone structure too - my lower jaw is too small, which necessitated some years of unpleasant braces. If they don't have to do that it'd be a big win.
