I have to wonder - is the iPhone autocorrect really that bad? Mine doesn't make these kinds of errors. I half suspect it's a side-effect of an adaptive algorithm that watches for people using what it thinks are uncommon words frequently and moving those to the top of the suggestion list.

Yes, I'm looking at stupid humor blogs instead of putting together this awesome music post. You will just have to wait 'till tomorrow.

/me would totally switch to an iphone if it had a slideout keyboard (and wasn't controlled by Apple :-)

Wow, that's great, I have an iPad and it does the same sort of thing. The horrifying part is that it is adaptive, so it doesn't always correct the same things the same way... I have been amazed by some of what it has done.
