Government shall not silence speech

http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20101223/00515812394/free-speech-apparently-less-important-than-us-attorney-courts-silencing-annoying-woman.shtml
"[I]t appears US officials are abusing the grand jury process, the court system, and the ability to seal details of a case for the purpose of silencing someone they find annoying, in large part because she was successful in getting people to protest some US government actions."

I have no idea if this woman's actions are indeed annoying, but I trust the ACLU's decision that her speech is being unfairly silenced. The answer to silence is more speech; if you agree please consider reposting this story so it gets the widest possible audience. The story was on Slate on Dec 21 and doesn't seem to be getting picked up.

I know that chronic pain is a deeply personal issue for some of my readers or your family/friends. I'm not trying to state an opinion on that, or on this woman's choices of remedies or methods. Just saying that what has happened to her ain't right.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
