Ask Dr LJ
OK, I'm new to this thing and I'm sure there are lots of functions I don't know about, but here's one I'd think was obvious yet I can't find it. Is it possible to find all comments that a person has made? Blog engines like Movable Type have these kinds of features but I can't find one here. Heck I can't even find my own comments, which would be useful for following ongoing discussions.

But that's not what I want. The inspiration for this is dpolicar. He's a very intelligent and thoughtful fellow. At a physical party I will often contrive to stand near him so as to hear what he has to say even in conversations in which I don't directly participate. Recently he started a series of "owning my words" posts in which he provides pointers to some of his commentary in others' LJs. So I asked myself - "If I wanted to read all comments dpolicar made yesterday how would I do that?" And there seems to be no way to achieve that.

I could be just talking outta my ass, though.
Most likely, one of the downloadable LJ clients would be more likely to have this feature.
(Again, I have no real clue what I'm saying, but it seems familiar...)
