PSA

I love you all, but I cannot possibly keep up with the volume. I've trimmed my Default View again not because I don't want to know but because work, life, sleep, family, training, and a zillion other things take up hours that therefore don't go to reading LJ. I don't foresee this changing in the near future.

All of you have fun, fascinating and sparkly interesting lives. I like reading about them and commenting and all the good interactions that come from it. But pretty please don't be offended if I didn't see the life-changing event/party/BBQ/dinner/fascinating story you posted in your LJ. Please don't assume I know what the heck is going on with you just because you posted it.

Feel free to drop me emails or URLs for things you think I Simply Must Read. I file those away and try to sort through the stack when I can. IM and regular email work, too. Or just tell me about it next time you see me.

I hope I haven't offended anyone; TTFN.

Totally understandable. I tend to read LJ, but I don't often get to post.

I will try to remember that you're not reading it often if there is something you might want to know.

We e-mail about our major happenings (2ce yearly party which we are totally being unsuccessful in finding a date for this fall). I understand the time-suck thing, especially when you keep writing long and thoughtful responses in my journal! For which I thank you wholeheartedly. But I respect the need for you to take care of your own life. (That is one of the *duh* things that adulthood has brought me... Finally getting my lack-of-center-of-everyone's-universeness. It comes along with remembering that I get to be the center of my universe. That seems the proper order of things.)

I think that's a fine order and you're certainly one of the foremost in my mind when I write about the interesting interactions that come from my commenting in others' journals. Feel free to poke me when you write more think pieces.
