Let me see if I have this right

Perry can't remember what parts of the US Government he would like to discard.

Cain can't remember which women he groped.

Romney can't remember his position on abortion rights.

Gingrich can't remember why nobody likes him.

Bachman can't remember basic US history.

Did I omit anything?

Obama can't remember what, exactly, he promised to do once he got elected.

I seem to recall hearing the same thing said often about Clinton, but then when someone actually counted, he'd fulfilled 94% of his campaign promises in the first few months. I've no idea what the current President's record is.

How many of his promises have been kept isn't as important as what promises he's abandoned.
Three of the things that I've been waiting for are unfortunately, probably the things he shouted loudest about before the election, yet has completely flipped on since (and indeed, made him look like a card-carrying member of the GOP).
Iraq and Afghanistan. That whole timeline thing? Yeah, pull the other one: it whistles.
Gitmo. More importantly, the folks inside have as much a chance of seeing the inside of any kind of courtroom (military or civil) as they did when Dubya was at the helm.
The USA PATRIOT act. Significantly, curbs on civil liberties have increased during his administration, with his justice department arguing vigorously for more unchecked surveillance powers being handed to police organizations.

That's funny, I seem to remember he just ordered us to get the troops out of Iraq by the deadline the previous administration set.

I could, however, be living in bizarro land.

I would say they are both important.
