Oh dear me

I consider it embarrassing that I only got 40/50 on the CSM Science Quiz: http://www.csmonitor.com/Science/2011/1209/Are-you-scientifically-literate-Take-our-quiz/

Two were "I am bad at math" mistakes. One was just a mis-click. A couple were hang-my-head-in-shame.

I got 36.

I was never a hard science person, nor a math person.

76%, a couple of which were stupid mistakes I knew better on.
I was never very good with biology. :)

I missed one. I thought "-nimbus" meant "in shadow" and dithered between the right answer and the one I picked.
But I need to know all that sort of thing every day for work, so I'd have been horrified if I'd missed 3.

48. I confused mu and zeta and I forgot what -nimbus meant. The movie Gattaca helped confirm my answer to one of the questions. :-) I've always been good a multiple choice questions.

Yeah, I determined that I'm not terribly science literate, but I do know my classical Greek.

My shower curtain *and* my favorite tee-shirt for sleeping are periodic tables. I should have gotten all of those right and didn't. Must study more.

That was fun. Thank you.

45/50

Two of them I am annoyed with myself at missing. But I figure that that makes up for the ones where I got by on etymology and process of elimination.
