A recipe:

Take 1 cup of Up Too Late. Add a liberal sprinkling of Vague Expectations.
Blend at high speed with Failure To Communicate.
Bake on high for about an hour.
Follow with wake-ups once per hour for three hours.
Let rest for about 1.5 hours.

Serves: me right.

Sunday was a lot less fun than it should've been.

Back on Saturday morning we had a birthday party for K that went pretty well.

I need to figure out how to make better planning choices. You'd think by now I would have more or less mastered this bit of being an adult.

Yeah, you'd think we'd both be better at this. Sometimes we are and those are fab. Sometimes we are not. Guess it means we're human huh?
