I can think of oh, eightyhundred of my friends who would use an image of that sort, at least now and then.

Which brings me to the LJ icons thing. I've been considering ditching or at least adding to my icons set. The default Pogo icon has a lot of meaning to me, but it's not always the most appropriate. All the others have uses and I'm reluctant to jettison them. How sad is it that I'm considering upgrading just so I can have more expressive pictograms? Maybe I should go daub plant dyes on my cave walls, too. Eesh.

Comments and advice welcome.

How many cool words can you find in this sentence:
Nanopaper is a 3D rendering of thermally stable nanomaterials made of long nanowires created from titanium oxide using a hydrothermal heating process.

We ARE living in the future. Apparently this stuff can be folded by hand, cut with scissors, and yet withstand temperatures up to 700C.

For us photogeeks: This stuff can regenerate its chemical composition after exposure to UV light. Reusable photographs, anyone?

Of course it's all lab wonk stuff now, which means commercial applications in about 20 years, but Still Too Cool.
