Thank you to awfief, golux_org, and caulay for helpful suggestions.

The code Just Started Working&tm;. I did use the suggested $_POST notation and eventually that worked. Why it took several iterations of the same thing to work still puzzles me, but it's 1AM and past my bedtime.

(My best guess is that the browser wasn't reloading the new code from disk on page refreshes so I wasn't really running the code I thought I was running. Or maybe I just didn't beat it hard enough when it sneezed.)

Trailer 2 is out. And it's even better than the first one. It has the right look and the right feel. I'm rereading the graphic novel now and other than some minor tweaks in characters' appearances it felt like what I've been reading, in Quicktime format.

I've been a fan of Atom Egoyan films since a former housemate of mine got me hooked on them in the early 90s. The story looks to have his trademark blend of tender and creepy. I haven't seen much of the work he's done lately - that will have to change.
