OK, I'm totally pimping out a mix done by a DJ friend of mine but trust me it's worthwhile.

You can download the whole mix here: http://www.divshare.com/download/9026461-f2f
(well you can download one track at a time. sigh.)

The assembler is one DJ Purple, who spins locally (both music and fire - how cool is that?). As she admits, this is a "music to have sex to" set, so play it on your work speakers with care. Usually she mixes the individual tracks, but here she's just assembling a compilation.

Some of the more noteworthy inclusions (where "noteworthy" is something that caught my ear but I'd not heard of before).

Puscifier's "Dozo (Version 2). Puscifier is Maynard James Keenan from the bands Tool and A Perfect Circle but this bears only the slightest resemblance to those efforts. This track is edgy and intense, with odd samples and rhythm changes thrown in to keep you from getting complacent.

Rotersand's "Exterminate Annihilate Destroy" is a goth-industrial tribute to everyone's favorite Dr Who villains. The contrast is amusing and jarring but the driving beat makes up for a lot.

Camille Jones' "Creeps" appears to be her break-out tune, in that it's the one everyone points to, though she has a newer CD out (from 2008). This one is something of a dancefloor staple and you can find a good number of remixes around. Also, there's a moderately NSFW video of the version remixed by Fedde le Grand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42ePU7O5q0s

Fedde seems to specialize in this kind of thing. This vid is for his remix of the "Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit" track. What a Dutch DJ is doing making an homage to the Motor City is beyond me, but it's a very dance-danceable track.

Oakenfold's "Sex 'n' Money" (featuring Pharrell Williams) is a long-time favorite of mine. This page has a whole set of mixes for it, all of which are worth the purchase price.
