And further proof that this is indeed my & Pygment's child. You may recall that a few months ago one of K's friends called him up to ask about D&D things. Well this has continued to the point where K said, very distinctly the other day:

"You have to stop calling and asking me this stuff. I'm not your live Player's Handbook!" (I'm certain one of you brilliant people will teach him about RTFM any day now.)

And yesterday he missed the bus because he was absorbed in a book.

I continue to be equal parts amused and annoyed. I'm beginning to be convinced he's more my kid than Pygment's though, because when I threatened to make him walk to school if he missed the bus again today Pygment tried to give him directions. And K gave her exactly the same uncomprehending look I give her when she tries to give me directions.

K turns 10 this weekend. Some day he'll read this. Happy birthday kiddo - we love you lots!

I'm looking for samples - screenshots if possible - of tools you consider good examples of easy to use protocol analysis tools. This can be any sort of protocol from an IP stack to an HTTP traffic stream to a natural language syntactic breakdown. If you've used such a tool and think it's good let me know about it.
