minerva42 posted a nice note about using OpenID as part of the ongoing migration. Claiming your LJ URL through OpenID makes it easier for people who read your imported comments in third-party journals to find you on DW.
It doesn't quite solve the problem I mentioned last time of people who have different main IDs there than here, but it's a good step.
