I don't expect people to find this funny

Background: In the current Warcraft expansion there's an NPC named Fanny. You'd like her - she kicks ass (beat three ogres herself, barehanded) and doesn't take no nonsense. There's a quest line in which the guy who's sweet on her asks for your character's help in finding her after she's run off. The quest is called, naturally, Find Fanny.
The following exchange occurred in our online guild chat recently...
$guildmate: Wish me luck!
Me: Why?
$guildmate: I'm trying to Find Fanny.
Me: Two hands and a map?
There is utter silence on guild chat. Crickets, really. Some time later Pygment walks into the room to hear me sighing dejectedly. I repeat the exchange for her and she nearly does a spit-take, after which she comes over and gives me a hug and a kiss, still giggling.
See, she gets me. I would love it if other people got my sense of humor, too, but I take it as a Sign of Rightness that she gets it so well.
