drwexOnce upon a time "Web logs" (blogs) were lists of links that people found interesting. I seem to be in that phase right now (though you can read my punditry at Copyfight as usual).
I was amused at the amount of conversation my previous link generated. I guess I shouldn't have been, considering how many of my flist are book geeks/elitists/lovers. So I have no idea if this is going to be a conversation starter or not, but it one cracked me up - props to tisana, who gakked one of the images for an LJ icon:

The notion that certain (many? most?) pop idols are too thin (read: unhealthy) is one I suspect I share with most of my flist. This site is damned funny about it, too. I can't decide if I want the "Heroin Chic..." or "I See Skinny People..." shirt.
