Closing out more music tabs

I want to start with DJ Clivester. His recent stuff has been "meh" at best, but this one shows off his talents very well, mashing up five major tracks, plus some cool samples. The track is called "Too much cocaine" but I would have called it "Too much Oasis." The base beat track is Utah Saints' "Too Much To Swallow Pt. 1" and the vocal is the nasal whiny "Wonderwall." Oh, sorry, is my bias showing? Never fear, Clivester makes the emo kids rock out with help from The Avalanches, Fatboy Slim, and C+C Music Factory.

An unusual item - a full mix on 8tracks I think is worth recommending. Usually I just pick out a song or two, but here mikaelbirger has put together a set of varied, mostly electro, sort of dreamy tunes. A nice set to stream on rainy afternoons.

MSTRKRFT have done an unusual trick here. They've taken a fairly frenetic track, Metric's "Monster Hospital" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_-jIYkPQAU) and mellowed it out. As you'd expect, they've also re-keyed it to more typical dance melodies, but the way they've played with the tempos makes this a clever track.

I'm going to point to the UN-remixed version of PNAU's "Embrace" because I found the title of the remix to be vaguely offensive. I'm sure you can find it with a little searching if you're really curious. PNAU's MySpace page is annoying, as it has an obnoxiously large advertisement overlaying the player so I couldn't really listen to the music they've posted. PNAU are an Australian duo, mostly mixing song-style dancefloor tracks, but then overlaying them with strong interesting female vocals. This track features Ladyhawke, a singer from New Zealand who (if Wikipedia is to be believed) renamed herself after the film. Her MySpace page also has the annoying overlay problem.

Sia is another Ozzie import, a strong vocalist with jazz overtones. This track is pop-dance oriented, with a good beat. Her page (http://www.myspace.com/siamusic) gives you a sample of more of her mellow/jazz offerings, some of which veer toward classic jazz torch-singa stuff.
