In Search Of

I'm going to be in need of some Saturday-go-to-Shul clothing. It occurs to me that I should try to get it now while everyone is having sales. A couple shirts, a couple pairs of slacks should do. If people see coupons(*) or other good-deal sales on traditional-style men's dress clothing please pass me info.

In past years at least a couple of my friends have made or sourced personal care products such as lip balms and hand lotions. I find I need a couple such things and if someone in my friends' circles is selling such things I'd be interested to hear about it.

(*) I looked at one by American Apparel and was American Appalled, partly by what they considered "sale" prices and partly by the styles. I'm looking for pretty traditional conservative attire.

Thank you. I've seen similar deals on full suits and such, usually in the $500 and up range. I really don't need a full suit, though - just a few separate items.

It's interesting the way Groupon selects which offers to send people. I didn't see any of the three you listed in my mailings, but they did send me one for bras at one point...

My own personal preference for finding nicer clothes that aren't going to destroy my budget is Kohl's. Which is conveniently close to you.
I'm getting Eddie Bauer emails now, so if something comes up I'll let you know. I find them to have well-made clothes that are built for adults.

Do you have a Costco membership? Right now they have a selection of good quality men's dress shirts for $17.99. (I think also black wool slacks and the like, but I wasn't paying attention.)

I don't. Honestly I'm not even sure there's one near us. Though after what I've read of them lately I'm thinking we should get memberships and go shop there.

We have a membership. I shop there about once per month. I'd be happy to take you as a guest on my membership next time (or any time really) that I am going. I have not yet gone for the month of December and will be going in the next week or two.

I usually try to go during the day to avoid having to drag the kids along, but I can go a week day evening. I do try to avoid weekends as the store is often insanely busy on weekends (especially in December).
