Seconded. The powerful will employ all the screening and privacy money can buy, they will cause lawmakers to impose draconian punishments on any violation of *their* privacy, and yet eventually, the general public will be able to look up what they are doing. I can't even imagine how it would transform politics to not be able to do any dirty little backroom deals, nor what it would do to actual crime. But parents will have their kids tagged for 24 hr surveillance with software to scan for any abuses or trouble. The dream is, no one will ever be able to molest a kid again, once that technology is ubiquitous.
