The long story is uninteresting. The short form is: I had a folder problem on my PC and the external hard drive I've used for back-ups failed. I'm probably looking at a $1000 cost if I want to recover, or I can just flush five years worth of photos, and almost every piece of evidence I captured of the work I did at Lime.

I have gone through similar things in the now too distant past.

I have had the good fortune that a lot (not all) of the photos I had, friends had copies of so I could reconstruct SOME of my collections; but many are gone forever.
