My elder son, having read the balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet for the first time has decided that Romeo is a stalker, and is deeply offended by this.
I am so far into amused I can no longer see it in my rear view mirror.
Ahhhh! YES! TOTALLY a stalker!!! The ongoing bullshit trope that categorizes this kind of behavior as romantic is one of the great downfalls of western society.
And now I have some faith in the future that the newer generation is not fooled by old "romance." <<<333
