Snow day

The kids' schools cancelled, pre-emptively. I think everyone is twitchy after the last mess and doesn't want to be caught out as the ones with stranded children or the ones making roadblocks.

Wifey is considered "essential personnel" at work and I'm, well, not. So I'm at home with the kids.

Back to trying to figure out how to port-forward through PuTTY...

I don't know what it's like where you are, but here, we have eight inches already and it's still coming down at approximately an inch an hour.

I would shift our local administrators' decision from the "twitchy" column to the "prudent" one.

Again, not speaking for your town, which straddles 128. (Mine is outside of I-495.)

Here is less bad - basically a normal NE winter snow. We've probably had 6-7 inches down and it's still coming but the roads are basically clear.
