A moment of win in my morning

I've been meaning to post about the (extended) weekend. Maybe in a bit. I just needed to share this, one of the many ways in which my Wifey rocks.

I come back into the computer room cranky from having to referee yet another string of arguments between my children. I mean, really, who the heck CARES which of them gets the top bowl from the stack of identical bowls? Is it really worth YELLING about at 6:45AM? Grr, grump grump.

So wifey tosses a tissue at the trash and misses. Then carefully walks around so her back is to me and bends over to pick it up.

My (ahem) assets. Let me show you them.

Well, the top bowl is the one with the dust in it. Bleh.

Heh. It's true, if the bowls sit for a while. At the pace our kids use them the bowls have no time to collect dust.

Plus I figure some small amount of dirt is probably good for building up their immune systems.

I was woken at 6:45 to be told there was no bread for lunches,something they forgot to tell me when they made lunches yesterday and finished it. I was at the grocery store at 7:05 Am today dammit

Our little guy was up and screaming this morning, but for much better reason. tigira has made him a WALL-E costume for Friday, and she finished it off last night. This morning was the first time he's really seen the costume all put together. He's really excited about it.

And, if you're going to be awake earlier than you want to in the morning, then I'm glad that you can at least have your wonderful wife to liven up the morning.
