No. Wrong. Stop that.
Nov. 18th, 2008 10:59 amThough I suppose we all dealt with the Matrix-LotR wrongness. But this is... oh dear.
In the trailer, where he says "I will not allow you to lecture me" it's just SO much the other character.
Brain hurt now.
(I was slightly amused by PvP's take on it: http://www.pvponline.com/comics/pvp20081118.gif)

Date: 2008-11-18 07:09 pm (UTC)Speaking as someone who was a serious hard-core TOS fan as a kid, and who never really got into any of the movies or successor series, this film looks like it might maybe just possibly be excellent. We'll see.

Date: 2008-11-19 03:47 pm (UTC)The wierd think about Sylar is, he's got the right look - he makes a very passable Spock. I think it'll be hard not to expect him to cut open heads, especially since I've seen a screenshot of him with his hand around Kirk's throat... but I'll be willing to give them a shot, at least.
And, honestly, it's not like we aren't going to be looking at Scotty in the same way, and thinking, "Okay, when does he pretend to be a zombie?"

I do sure like the trailer.
