Beginning Begging for Arisia Babysitting

We're not presently staying in the con hotel and are hoping to hire friends who are not attending Arisia to do childcare the evenings of the con. Pygment and I will likely both be on evening panels.

We can handle the heavy lifting of getting them home, fed, and through the bedtime routine. Mostly what we need is a responsible adult who would enjoy a quiet space that comes with Internet, hot tub, and whatever other amenities we can provide.

Failing that, having quiet adult-supervised space in which we can put them to sleep would be acceptable - we'd pick them up and take them home if need be. Again, we're willing to pay standard rates/costs.

This would be the evenings of January 16th and 17th.

I think that when sweetmmeblue posted this a while ago, tigira volunteered one of us. Even if that's not how it happened, we'll volunteer!

We may have something doing on one of those nights. I'll check and try to get back to you about it as quickly as I can.

That would be wonderful. Check your schedule and we can work out arrangements. I'm told that Arisia will be putting together the events/panels schedule this week so no rush.

Wow, that week was hectic - sorry that I haven't gotten back to you earlier. Anyway, I still haven't found anything out specifically, but go ahead and sign one of us up for babysitting on Friday. That is, if you still need our help.

We do indeed need the help. Can you drop me/us a mail with your logistical plan for Friday and we'll figure out how to work the kids into it?
