I need to find a better place to archive this kind of stuff.

That cute little "plus-heart" icon on this page will add it to your "Memories" folder here on LJ.

Or is that not what you meant? Cut-and-paste from the LJ Memories allows you to transfer text to other locations, and from there you have a plethora of archival opportunities (including dumping to hard-copy, if you have a place to put it).

The heart-plus lets me add my own entries. I can't seem to get that icon when I view other peoples' entries.

However, storage on a server with no guarantee of my being able to control it is also not what I mean. I think I mean something more archival, which might indeed be hardcopy.
