Nailed by a silly color meme

Feste gave me "white" as my color for this meme. The idea is, comment here and I will give you a color. Then, in your journal, list ten things you love that are that color.White is hard - I don't own much that is white and I can't even think about the color noun without engaging the whole race/privilege mental dialog. Most of the white things I own are white so that something can be printed on them and be legible. I can list a few things I like, but none I really love.
1. The way the clouds look from outer space. When you see shots from the ISS or a shuttle mission you get the idea that things down there might actually be clean. It's a lovely ideal.
2. The way stars look, particularly on a clear winter night.
3. "White" aka "Trois Couleurs: Blanc" - Krzysztof Kieslowski middle movie in his amazing trilogy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111507/). Julie Delpy is smokin' and the movie is funny and poignant and romantic in ways far too subtle for Hollywood.
4. The white part of a flame - it makes me think simultaneously of both heat and purity.
5. The white that is the perfect opposite of black when I've color-balanced a photo shot properly. If you get the white and the black correct then 90% of the time everything else just falls into place.
6. The white that you see on the stage when it's not really white. This is sort of the opposite of the photo - instead of pinning things to a true white you've blended your gel colors just so, and know the set and the costumes just that way so that the audience sees white when there isn't a single undoctored photon anywhere in the house.
(I reserve the right to add four more, but really this took me a long time to get; don't hold your breath.)

Sorry; that's me, not you. But it seemed obvious, from your own words.
And, looking at your list again, maybe #5 and #6 cover what I just said, but in a more poetic manner.

If you give me a color I don't like, it might be a challenge to come up with something other than, "Um...flowers" but I suppose that's part of the fun.
