The multiple me

In chat with MizA I expressed that I'm not feeling at ease today with the whole requirement to be an adult and make choices about what I do. If I had multiple mes

- one would go to work and get paid. It helps that I like what I do.

- one would be on the computer editing down the backlog of photos I want to get posted.

- one would be on the computer gaming.

- one would be sitting on the back deck sipping iced tea, reading a novel and listening to Queen while it's still cool enough to be outside.

- one would be out walking, preferably someplace new.

- one would be writing down the stories and poems and ideas that flit through my head so fast I can't manage to keep hold of them.

- one would be doing the various chores that nag at me to be done, the short term bills and the longer term projects I'm just simply too lame to dedicate hours to. Or maybe cooking something.

- one would definitely be back in bed catching up on sleep and probably not be able to because of the other me who'd be in bed with... well, you get the idea.

What would your multiple yous be doing?

2 of me would be farming
1 would be spending all day riding and with horses
1 of me would be full-time devoted to my Craft
1 of me would sleep, read and cook
another would be a full-time social butterfly and have a lot of sex
and one would have to do the laundry, keep the house clean, and be the property manager and do all those little things that take up so much of my time but are necessary.

First of all, my version of this has to have connected consciousness otherwise I feel like I just lose out on something even moreso.
Mine would
-be here at work
-stay caught up with RSS feeds
-reading
-crafting
-doing house chore stuff (incl. figuring a way to keep the birds and beasts away from my tomato plants)
-sleeping in
-doing something wheeled: bike, rollerblade, or motorcycle related

3 of me would be at my store.
- doing the accounting
- working on some new displays
- actually making art!
1 would be home doing house work, dusting, sorting, clearing...
1 would be in the studio, cleaning up, sorting, reclaiming
1 would be sitting on the front porch with a beverage and a good book
1 would be warping my loom and starting work on a wrap I wanted to weave for my mother.
1 would be sorting paperwork/bills, shredding and filing
1 would be working on one or all of about 3 doll house projects that have stalled out
1 would be posting to freecycle and craigs list all day trying to get rid of junk
1 would be wandering the streets of Salem, checking out some of the new places that have opened in the last year, dropping off promo stuff for the store.
1 would be going out to lunch/dinner with friends, chatting and drinking beverages
1 would be working on the scrap book I started for my kids
1 would be a slug, sitting in front of mindless TV working on something like ATCs

I suppose the bigger question is even if I could do and did do all these things, would i feel like i had gotten anything done?

1 of me would be creating new beaded jewelry
several of me would be working on other projects
1 of me would be doing the pile of filing.
1 of me would be working on my accounting that I'm dreading come December because I haven't looked at it all year.
1 of me would be reading a novel.
1 of me would be doing yard work.
1 of me would be working on unpacking more boxes in the basement. When we moved everything went into the basement, we are slowly working on unpacking and putting stuff away.
1 of me would be at the beach.
1 of me would be canning up fruit and veggies.
1 of me would be building my web site.
1 of me wouls be creating awesome costumes.
1 of me would be working on the pile of sewing.
1 of me would be working with the Red Cross in some disaster stricken area.
1 of me would be volunteering locally at the cat shelter.

I could keep going, there is so much I want to do but it seems like the things I have to do trump everything else and there just isn't enough time in the day/week/year... can you believe tomorrow is September 1st already?

1 of me would be out traveling the world (sightseeing, SF Cons, etc.)
1 of me would be sick in bed recovering from all of the colds, cons crud, etc. caught by the previous 1 of me.
