I'm pretty sure that when I was looking at lunch options "change flat tire in the rain" was not one of my selections. Yet it's what I got for lunchtime.

Fortunately I carry a full-sized spare, and it wasn't raining all that hard. Also fortunate that it happened in a parking lot and my cow orker spotted it and warned me about it while it was still light outside and in time for me to change it and make my appointment this afternoon.

I was a tad late, the doc was a tad late, and I had to wait half an hour for the nurse to show up and give me injections and the paperwork for the blood lab. Joy.

Apparently (according to the nurse) "everything happens around 4:45". I noted that I will take that into account for scheduling future appointments.
