I was at an academic conference recently where a scholar was talking about a 1969 Nancy Sinatra TV special, and one of the questions from the audience had to do with Sinatra's subtextual kinky-sex references...
Uh, depends what you mean "model." I could probably wear them to Diesel next week if people remind me. I need better socks for them, frankly. They're destined to be worn with my kilt to appropriate occasions.
When adjusting to stompy boots, the Rookie Mistake is to walk without lifting your toes enough. When feet come up, they come up even to the ground; when feet come down, the heel should hit the ground first.
With my arthritis doing this would leave me writhing on the ground in pain in short order. I'll have to find a good adjustment for the angle these boots put my feet at. It's less than my cowboy boots but these boots don't have a heel catch the way those others do.
SoM would be great - haven't seen them in some time. I have heard mixed things about NiN shows. Wasn't that impressed by Reznor's latest to want to spend the ticket money.
