AD&D3 tabletop game has one opening

I'm looking for a new player for my long-running VPM game. If you want a flavor for things you can read some of mrf_arch's quote summary postings, like this one: http://mrf-arch.livejournal.com/219387.html

The game is _adult_, which means you need to be comfortable with at least R-rated topics and certain X-rated humor, though that's mostly the players' faults. I'm also fond of posing moral dilemmas to the characters and having them be solved in character-appropriate fashion.

I have a preference for people who enjoy role-playing and story-telling. If you're not all that familiar with the system we'll help you out. We run a modified game anyway, so don't worry if you don't have the PHB memorized.

The game meets approximately every odd-numbered Sunday (1st, 3rd and 5th if it happens) from about 1-7PM at my house. You must be child-tolerant, as we have two in residence (who are usually babysat). Other players may also be bringing wee ones Real Soon Now and we think that's great.

Who all is in it?

And how are the R-topics and possibly X-topics handled with the kidlings around? (I'm trying to sort out if that would cause some cognitive dissonance for me, though it shouldn't, because, well, kids are often caused by X-rated topics.)

Three of the players are active on LJ: mrf_arch, kalimar, and sweetmmeblue. There are three MIT-associated folk whom you might know from things like LARPs/Assassins games. Talk to me tonight (Diesel) about names. Number 7 is a friend of MRF's and quite a good fellow. I can't think of a context in which you might know him, though.

The kidlings generally aren't around during game - they're off with a sitter or playing by themselves. But they do wander into the room from time to time and all players understand that sometimes things get paused for a few moments while the current kid issue is dealt with.

Other than sweetmmeblue, I'm not sure if I know anyone else in it. And, sadly, I won't be at Diesel tonight; I work evenings, which means I rarely if ever go.

I might be interested -- I like AD&D, have the books, and have a tendency to play morally-tested characters. I will look at some of the details of the campaign, and if you don't mind me considering joining, we can discuss character concepts?
