Minor updates

drwexWork is moderately insane. I tried to explain the term "goat rodeo" to a coworker yesterday, but that completely failed since she's never seen a rodeo. Which is damned weird considering the number of American cowboy-themed bars and such they have in Hong Kong (her home turf). Being from MIT she at least understood what I meant when I said "Mongolian clusterfuck."
Dental saga ended peacefully, with minimal cost and virtually no pain. Hooray for second opinions. If you're in the eastern-MA/north of Camberville area, you can check out Burlington's Gentle Dental. They apparently also have other offices, but my experience is just with this one.
Life at home continues to be slow and relaxed. We continue to need babysitting - the one high-school girl we thought would work out has gotten more hours at her library job and is mostly dropping babysitting. Shocking how teenagers often want to go out and have fun.
Things on the health front are pretty good for us, not so good for people we care about. I'll leave it to others to tell their stories.
