Don't Try This At Home
Nov. 15th, 2007 09:45 amOr, one far-too-frantic day.
Yesterday I finished cleaning out my cube at CRD and scrubbing my laptop. Did my exit interview. (deep breath) And hustled home to unload the car, change, wolf down some food so I could try to get downtown for a 1PM interview.
- Missed the train. No problem, drive to Alewife.
- Alewife garage is full. Where do I park? Uh, no help.
- Davis has no parking options.
- Lechmere is full. Screw it, at this point it's getting late. Drive downtown.
- Park on Boylston St? It is to laugh.
- OK, park under Boston Commons.
Hey at least it was a nice day for a walk.
This kind of thing really fries me. I'm low on reserves already. I have this AM "off" (which means just dealing with phone calls and emails) then I drive to Plymouth for another interview.
I've gone 'round the bend, clearly.
