Ah.... I just wasted a good number of hours of my life playing Dreamfall (sequel to The Longest Journey) this week, only to discover that they pull a Matrix II at the end... grrr... After umpteen hours of gameplay, you don't even get an emotionally satisfying resolution!
It's also been called "The Longest Cutscene", which feels about right sometimes. I mean, I don't really like first-person shooters, but it IS an interactive game. If I wanted to watch a CGI movie, I'd go see a Pixar film.
Still, whining aside, it was pretty enjoyable. Very thought-provoking storyline. And, like all computer games, highly addictive.
