drwex | Fired, even though there were good bits

Today is fired. In fact, can I go back and retroactively fire yesterday? Not all of it, just me because I EPIC FAIL at parenting.

The good bits of the weekend included getting to help J&B get ready for their housewarming. I met some nice folk but early on in the party I got hit badly by "you failed to eat, you moron" syndrome and had to leave just when more interesting people were arriving. Probably a good thing I left, though, since I got home after food and crashed out for a couple hours.

Sunday I got chores done (yard picked up and mowed and even edge-trimmed) and enjoyed the gorgeous weather while managing to get six loads of laundry done, including two for the girlfriend. I'm a cycling fail, too, mostly due to being way the hell out of shape (though I did sneak onto Bobbi's scale and see that I've only put on a couple extra pounds, not the 5-10 I had feared).

Sunday was full of parenting fail, which continued with gale force this morning. Fired.
