First of all, DJ Schmolli is a Very Bad Man. No, I'm not going to warn you more than that. Go listen. If you push the Play button after the page loads, and you see what he's done, it's your own fault.

Hypem has been disappointing me for a while. I fast forward most of the new tracks. That's the joy of listening to a blind aggregator, I guess. This one is catchy and good for dreary gray days (which today is). Jupiter One have a few more tracks up on their MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/jupiterone) including a radio edit of the base tune that was remixed here, which is definitely NOT electronica.

Another fun Clivester remix. Don't play this if you have some kind of reverence for Genesis because this is sort of like Phil Collins' demented aerobicizing twin brother. Or something. I think I need more sleep.

Finally, get thee back to the New Old Funk because nobody does it like DJ Steveboy. I got to meet him at Worldcon and absolutely danced my ass off for two hours as he spun for a dance nobody knew about. A real shame, if you ask me. For you burners, he's going to be doing an all-nighter out on the playa (again). Do Not Miss. This mix, "Lower The Boom," is somewhat more tribal and spacey than his other new/old funk mixes. Still a good hour to stream into your ears.
