I can't think that I'd be positively disposed towards whatever message came along with a knitted vagina delivered to my desk.

Really? I'd love one of these (though I think the uteri are cuter). Also I think that someone who took the time to knit me one was showing affection to me.

I can see how a conservative male Republican lawmaker might be less amused than I, though.

The political statement involved in a knitted object seems, at best, a little obscure, especially when you factor in the time involved in producing these items.

And that's assuming the legislator gets the thing at all. This seems, really, like the kind of object that a mail-opening intern logs (if you're lucky) and throws away.

Make a real difference with your elected representatives: write them a letter coherently stating and supporting your position.
