Oh, sad. (RIP Ray Bradbury)
Jun. 6th, 2012 11:26 amFarenheit 451 is one of the books I go back and re-read often. I think I read it as a young child and didn't quite get it, but when I reread it in high school I remember crying as I read.
I also remember being so scared when I read Something Wicked This Way Comes and I think it was from that book I got the idea that someone who was 50 was old and a confirmation of my youngster belief that force of will/self-confidence could vanquish evil. Silly me, I guess.
He wrote so much, about which so much could be said, but those two books affected me the most of all he did, back when I was young (and rocks were soft).
