"You answered 10 out of 10 questions correctly, better than 99.6% of Americans."
OK maybe that wasn't so complicated.

Date: 2012-07-03 06:50 pm (UTC)(in other words, 99.6% of Americans weren't paying a bit of attention and only listened to the people shouting. i had a bit of dismay at xpioti's journal a couple days back, where she pretty much announced that she had been wallowing in general ignorance ;-/ )

Will the health reform law require all businesses, even the smallest ones, to provide health insurance for their employees?

Date: 2012-07-04 12:07 am (UTC)Q: Will the health reform law provide financial help to low and moderate income Americans who don't get insurance through their jobs to help them purchase coverage?
A: Yes. Individuals without access to affordable coverage who purchase coverage through the new insurance Exchanges and have incomes up to 400% of the federal poverty level will be eligible for premium tax credits based on their income.
IMO, "financial help...to help them purchase coverage" implies payments up front, not a tax credit. I'm sorry, but a tax credit might help purchase coverage for the *next* year, not at the point of sale. It's just how time works...
