All it takes is willingness to absorb other traditions and graft them onto the ones you already have.

Of course, you can always give the standard Jewish twist:

"The sun was dying, but then it came back. Let's eat!"

"Most of the trees loose their leaves and look dead in the winter, but this one doesn't. Let's eat!"

"Oh yeah, this old guy gave gifts to kids about this time of the year a lot. Let's eat!"
