drwexToday it has been confirmed that Aaron Swartz took his own life yesterday, apparently unable to deal with the pressure of our government being out to get him.
Most of you would not be reading this without the work Swartz did - among other things he invented RSS. I'm sorry I never met him personally, though we had many friends in common.
