drwexA couple people on my f-list have renamed themselves. Apparently LJ did a big purge and freed up a bunch of names. Good for them. Unfortunately, there's apparently an annoying bug where the new name is not automatically friends with people the old name was friends with so I've been unable to comment in their journals.
Of course, if you want to unfriend me, it's always Friends Amnesty day here so that's fine. But if it's not intended... well, now you know.
