For some reason my previous music post has been targeted for a lot of comment spam. Fortunately, LJ has a setting that lets me allow anonymous comments, but screen them based on whether or not the commenting user is anonymous.
Those of you who know me rest assured I am not changing my views on the value of anon comments. I'll continue to allow them in my public posts and just go through hand-deleting the spam comments.
However, if you choose to comment anonymously your comment will be screened until I can review it and determine it's a real relevant remark at which point I'll un-screen it. Sorry for any hassle.
For those who want to do this themselves, go to http://www.livejournal.com/support/faq/134.html and follow the directions under "Journal Screening Settings".
