Date: 2014-02-25 08:22 pm (UTC)So here it is: UDP is Twitter. You send something out into the ether, and you have no investment in its being received or responded to. TCP is Facebook (or LJ or G+ -- pick your poison). You send something out, but you EXPECT it to be received, and for there to be some kind of feedback.
I welcome correction. But.. the correlation has been amusing me. :)
