Back in October I snarked about Judge Koh ruling that Google's policies were not explicit in telling users that the company reads all your emails in order to target you for advertising.

Thank goodness they cleared THAT up.

Google added a paragraph to its terms of service as of Monday to tell customers that, yes, it does scan e-mail content for advertising and customized search results, among other reasons.
