At 8:45 this morning I realized I have today as a vacation day because I logged into my work email as I usually do in the morning and saw a meeting reschedule "due to the holiday".

DOH!

Better late than never. I still recall skiing in to MIT for the April Fool's blizzard, because it was well known that MIT *never* shut down for snow.

More than a third of my department came in, sop I was far from alone...
