I'm currently caught in the "can't post to LJ from browser" bug. I've tried restarting the browser and even posting from an entirely different browser. If this works well now you know.

I see this to be true for me, too. Let me tell you how posting from my ipod is NOT a viable option. Keyboard. Real keyboard.

I found that I can still successfully edit my posts, but yeah. This is some seeeerious bullshit. I do not want to create a private post on my phone so I can then go "edit"/write the post I wanted to post.

I've done a bunch of experiments. The error appears to be linked to the user login. It failed for me on three different browsers from two different networks. But since Ljbeetle worked I'm guessing the third-party UI is working so my next test once I get home will be to try posting to Dream width and see how that behaves.

What error are you getting when you post from your browser? (It seems to be working OK for me in Chrome)

The error is at the UI level in that neither the "post" nor "preview" buttons work. They are greyed out and do not respond to mouseover or mouse clicks.

The auto-save functionality also appears not to be working, as when I open a new tab to create a second entry it doesn't offer to restore from save.

I successfully posted to my LJ this afternoon without any glitches or resorting to workarounds using Opera 28.0 running on a late 2013 Macbook Pro running OS X version 10.9.5. I don't know if I'm a lucky exception or if the problem has been fixed.
